Trust Issues

wirestyle 2

Install random junk everywhere and make the Runner panic. Thanks to the ID's free install every turn, you can flood the board with new facedown cards until the Runner starts seeing ghosts. Some are real agendas. Some are Urtica Ciphers waiting to explode. Some are just Byte! quietly waiting to ruin their day. If they don't run, they lose to free scoring or giant Clearinghouses. If they do run, they slam face-first into net damage, traps, or ICE that taxes their clicks and credits into oblivion.

The ICE here isn’t about building a giant wall — it’s about making every run feel like walking barefoot over LEGO bricks. Cheap early pieces like Whitespace and Karunā slow them down, while heavier stuff like Semak-samun punishes greedy follow-up runs. Offworld Office hands you a fat paycheck when you need it, Fujii Asset Retrieval dings the Runner even if they succeed, and Blood in the Water finishes the job when they’re bleeding. If the Runner ever feels comfortable playing against this deck, you’re doing it wrong.
