Without a Warning

Rotation is upon us. I wanted to pay my respects to years and years of FFG cards, in my own style. Unlike my Corp, this was locked in from the very beginning.

It's been 9 months since the original version of this deck hit nrdb, but I never brought it to a tournament. I've been playing all sorts of Crim decks, but this always had a special place in my heart. Nobody expected it. Nobody respected it. Not being able to play it in the finals was a little sad, but in my heart I know it only happened due to a Divine Entity wanting to keep its score pristine.

Started out against krysdreavus on Asa, where money was scarce and water kept rising, slowly but surely. Kept going against Porkobolo, where any trace attempt failed and the gun never reached the back of my head. Ended the day against the members of the Council, where divine intervention intefered with the Empress' psychic abilities despite a couple mistakes on my part.

That morning, before the tournament, I was feeling very emotional. I could feel the end of the line getting closer and closer for some time. I really thought it could be my last day playing competitively. I cried. Would've been poetic, to stop right as the cards were rotating. I might keep going just a little longer. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
