Jeeves Biotech:Life Immaterial 1.0

As a disclaimer I haven't play tested this yet, but I would like to get ideas and make sure everything is legal.

This is what a Cambridge style PE deck turned into.

My one issue with Jinteki Biotech: Life Imagined, is that once you use it, you can't do anything else that turn. So really, with the brewery, you do 2 damage, Yay? But with Jeeves Model Bioroids you can do 2 damage and then Ronin, Scorched Earth, or Neural EMP. The nice thing about brewery and ronin is that the runner doesn't need to be tagged, and they didn't need to run.

Now add into the mix 3 Bio-Ethics Association. Nasty.

But with Jeeves Model Bioroids you can do other tricks.

Neural EMP twice, pull them out of archives using Allele Repression (you can use Himitsu-Bako as fodder if you want), and then Neural two more times.

Have a single advanced Ronin on the table, advance 3 times and pop it.

All this with BEA. And regular Trap goodness.

I do wish I had room for Sealed Vault here to protect from account Siphon.

Ideas? Thoughts?

It looks like you are paying 6 influence for Jeeves Model Bioroids. Why not mix things up by adding a few more cards so you don't need to pay any influence?

  1. Replace Medical Research Fundraiser with Green Level Clearance. Fundraiser is a terrible card in my opinion because it gives the runner tempo at the cost of a and a card to the corp.

  2. You can also replace some of the traps with additional Cerebral Overwriters too.

  3. Replace Himitsu-Bako with Eli 1.0.

  4. Throw in Reclamation Order to pick up a stack of Mushin No Shin or Snare! from your Archives.

  5. Rototurret and Viper are very low influence ICE too.

  6. Isabel McGuire and Thomas Haas to enhance your shell game.

This is a win-win situation because you'll be gaining superior cards in your deck for the same 'investment' in influence that you are already making in Jeeves.

If you are willing to invest 3 influence then 1 copy of Architect can help defend against ICE destruction too.

I'm generally quite concerned about your central servers. If you use profiteering then 3 bad pub is going to make it trivially taxing to run your centrals with your current ICE suite. Account Siphon and Keyhole are probably your deck's worst enemies, especially coupled with ICE destruction.

I really reccomend Cerebral Cast. Medical Research Fundraiser isn't terrible when you have Profiteering, but Green Level Clearance is good too. I'm also a fan of Chairman Hiro with Bio-Ethics Association.

Thanks @Zakalwe and @RubbishyUsername for the comments. These are great suggestions, especially about the use of influence. I have now revised the list a bit to help.

@Zakalwe with most cambridge style decks the centrals are always the weak link. Jinteki: Personal Evolution deals with it by having the net damage and small agendas. Industrial Genomics: Growing Solutions deals with it through high trash costs. You are right, I have no way to deal with it here. Whizzard: Master Gamer could totally make his way into R&D and wreck up the joint. There are 3 Snare! but I feel that that isn't enough. Yagura helps a bit, but with only 1 include, it's not consistent. Any suggestions?

I've posted up my new deck, please check it out.
