Testing for Husbando 3rd@2024 CO

Atien 124

How all of this starts

My Husband AKA @Porkobolo is living a stressful period at work and has no time to play Netrunner during the week, so he asks me to test the deck he wanted to play at the first italian CO of 2024. The first version of this deck was very different from the ones you see right now, also because I really like the idea of the deck and I transformed it to fit the way I play. The day before the tournament some players comes to our house, we played board games and then started talk about the deck we will bring at the tournament, @Wowarlok shows to my husband an Outfit deck and he decided to bring that deck to the CO. So at 2AM of the day of the tournament I realized that all the playtesting I made for my Husbando was useless, so I decided to bring the Azmari I develop from the starting idea of Porkobolo.

6 agendas

Really like the six agenda deck in this meta, Bellona is a must have and at the end I choose to bring Degree Mill instead of Send a Message 'cause I've enough economy to rez my biggest ICE and I prefer to slow the runners.

The ICE suits

Tollbooth and Hydra are my big ICE, Funhouse is always good and makes runners play less aggressive when thay see it, F2P really nice ICE with strong subs it often costs 4 credits also with ICEbreaker so it's nice both in early and late game, palizade is what you need early game to protect your Daily Quest

The Plan

Make money, a lot of money and then MCA until you have 3 counters on it and finally score a 5/3 agenda from hand. Then find an Echo Camber, install it prentending is something else and - with plot twist move - add it to your score area as 1 agenda point. Repeat the MCA point. You win the game. Simple (not really so simple, but fun).

The tournament was a SSS event

TURN 2 - Against Kit: the runner played not so fast, so I've had the time to set up and my big ICE do they job keeping it out of my servers

TURN 3 - Against Hoshiko Rig of @Cros: the runner try to go too fast, I fake anoetics+echo in a server and he run in my remote taking 3 damage from a Hydra thanks to Tsakhia, he approced the server with 0 cards in hand and so I rezzed my Mavirus that gave him the coup de grâce

TURN 5 - Against Arissana of @Koga: really strange game, we both take a mulligan and didn't see our important cards for a while. But I've the time to take economy advantage while he's keep draw and at the end I've realized successfully my plan (see "The Plan" paragraph)

TOP: I lost against @koga in the top, but only because he steals a Bellona instead of a Degree Mill from my hand. And also because koga is such a good player, damn you <3

If you arrived here maybe you're asking "Where is the tag punishment?" Nice question.

I try Shipment from Vladivisk in the very first version of this deck, then Market Forces and B-1001 but I've always have the feeling something was wrong. I decided at last to playing without tag-punishment cards; first of all, because the runners always play around some tag-punishment cards even if you don't have it in your deck and second because trashing the resources of the runners in this meta is a great way to use the tag mechanics

Hope you enjoy this report and the deck

Love you all <3

In defense of the Husbando, i will be forever grateful for your testing. @koga showed me a beatiful Az ("MMMMh, this runner will lose most of the match ups. I love it, gimme that list!") so i choose to go full crazyness and bring a corp that, like my new runner, i never tested out. It was a CO, stacked with a lot of good players but still a CO, so i wanted to be silly :D
