"im, like, internet famous" v1

It wasn't supposed to happen like this.

Valencia had always thought that she would make it big by following the messy leads that corporations left hanging loose. You know, the ones they hoped no one would notice. She was no stranger to spending days without sleep, breaking and entering into high-profile offices to put the perfect incriminating puzzle together. It was hard work, but she was good at it, and it paid off whenever she didn't get caught.

But now, she found herself logged onto her old sanfiction.net account, mulling over the latest offer the strangest supplier she had ever worked with had sent her. It read:

"WELL DONE, ANOTHER MASTERPIECE. I KNEW THAT ONLY YOU COULD CAPTURE THE FORBIDDEN CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THOMAS AND FISK, MS. ESTEVEZ. YOU'LL FIND YOUR PAYMENT IN THE USUAL PLACE.

THIS TIME, I WOULD LIKE A 12-CHAPTER VAMPIRE HIGHSCHOOL AU, FEATURING CRYPSIS AND ISABEL MCGUIRE AS SASSY BUT SAVVY RIVALS. IF YOU CAN MANAGE A CROSSOVER WITH YOUR DINOSAURUS FIC, THEN I MIGHT BE ABLE TO THROW IN SOME JUICY INSIDER INFO. PLEASE RESPOND WITH AN ETA ASAP."

Whoever they were, they were loaded with credits, and a stream of anonymous tips to boot. They also paid on time, so this couldn't be ignored. Valencia sighed and started typing up a list of what golf-themed vampire powers she could think of for Isabel. God.

It was, well, it was work, and she was good at it. She thought about what she'd be able to do with the money and kept typing.

So, the flavor on Fan Site is basically my favorite thing to come out of Netrunner and it's singlehandedly managed to bring Data Dealer and Frame Job out of the dredges of irrelevance. There's currently no way to spend it in-faction, so Valencia seems to be the best fit, as a runner that makes the most of even a little bit of bad pub. Being able to bounce back from a complete bad pub loss was always something that Investigative Journalism lacked, and you have the option to layer on the bad pub, or to get more immediate credits instead.

Timing for getting Fan Site out isn't that important, so long as its before the next agenda, but it's important to keep in mind that any Jinteki deck might be sporting a Philotic Entanglement that can mean a sad ending to your fanfic.

From my experience, spending the Fan Sites on Frame Job works best against wide spreads of servers, while Data Dealer helps to equip you for deep dives into corps that Layer their ICE.

Notoriety is there for extra agenda fodder, or the occasional surprise winning point, and Quest Completed follows suit to gnab those agendas tied down to ASHs or Niseis to keep your bad blackmailin' self out.

Raymond Flint gets some love for the extra access, but the expose effect, alongside Infiltration help make sure that you're spending your blackmails on the right runs. They've saved my bacon enough times to justify their position!

As is, the program suite feels both too small, and too well-rounded out. I'm currently considering dropping most of the non-eater breakers in favor of some Wanton Destructions and DDoSes, and possibly even swapping Street Peddler for Inject, since the deck is so event-heavy, but spending bad pub to help install the perfect breaker mid-run feels so good that I'm not sure.

Anyway, that's what I've got. This is a fun deck to play, and I'm hoping to make it even more so. Any and all feedback is more than welcome! Thank you for reading through!!
