BLUE noble blood can run forever

Diogene 4642

Only in faction cards, using one of the new ID from Elevation. What does that tells us about the faction.

Game plan : Pressure the corp from all side and sweep HQ.

Mulligan plan : Hermes or at least 2 cards that gives credits.

Criminal faction.

  • Enough economic card : check.
  • Enough draw card : check.
  • Ways to pass ices : check.
  • Criminal shenanigans upgraded : check.

Blue power!

Criminals are the king of run based economy. They come second to none to be aggro runners. On top of being the only faction that bypass and derez things. With all this, I feel that Criminals have an even better defined identity than before.

The problem of criminals used to be draw power. While it is not at the Shaper level of power, it is good enough that it is not a problem anymore. Of course, MuslihaT: Multifarious Marketeer is even better at this.

While Hermes will continue to be strong, I feel that Open Market will open lots of new avenue to bounce back economically. Being able, from a mere 2, to install multiple resources in a row is really good. For criminal, it is on par with Sure Gamble as basic economy.

But the derez effect will be the true powerhouse. This present deck did not go with that route, but being able to derez all the big ices in the game will change the way ices are played. If you think Arruaceiras Crew was strong, wait until you see costly ices like Biawak, Mycoweb and Ansel 1.0 start to be derezzed around. Economic warfare is a criminal privilege.

I can safely say that there are no weak runner faction. All faction have their strength and playstyles. Criminal is fun and very interactive.

Shoutout to the devs of NSG for their amazing work with Elevation. The game as been so much better since they took custody of the game. Thank you.

Try this deck for fun. This type of deckbuilding will allow me to go to a netrunner meetup with multiple decks, without any issues of swapping cards between decks.

Cheers!
