NEH Psycho Beale (39th, worlds 2014, went 4-3)

I've been playing some form of Making News Psycho-Beale for many months with lots of success. This deck is similar to the Baltimore deck. It carried me to third in Seattle Regionals, for instance. Midseasons has been getting more difficult due to the rise of Noise and the ubiquitous presence of Legworks and Stimhacks in every deck. Noise ruins combo pieces while being rich, Legworks steal early Astros out of cheap HQ instead of a more expensive remote, and Stimhacks make remotes easy to run through.

I tried NEHbiotics but found that I couldn't beat good players with it consistently. I then decided the very morning of Worlds to switch to NEH Psycho-Beale.

The results were okay. Two of my losses were winnable-- I had the win in hand when they won. The other loss was to a CT deck that just would Opus for days and then Stimhack.

Clot makes this deck borderline unplayable though, so I will almost certainly be switching away from my beloved Midseasons in the future. Shadows were useless, I think I'd rather have Caduceus. And, I'll probably go back to Making News. I wanted NEH to exploit Architect. It worked really well twice, but since the deck is operation heavy it can be useless in some situations.
