Enough with the headlines - Top 4 at Iberian Lockdown #2

"Is there any news right now that isn't pandemic related?" - me when I read the news

This was the deck I played at the second Iberian Lockdown tournament last weekend. I mostly played it as a send off to currents, as word is these might be getting the hammer soon, and because it was the first corp I ever played so I have a soft spot for the ID. The lockdown theme is kinda perfect, considering the Scarcity which is ALWAYS in play (much to my opponent's despair) and with the triple Border Control.

The tournament format was Diversified Portfolio, a format I designed which revolves around choosing ID's based on there point score. More on that on the event page. Since being lower on points meant being higher in swiss, I decided to go for a lower point total, picking Sunny and the very low placed New Angeles Sol. This was a solid choice, as I ended up being the highest ranked player on 15 points, landing me in the top 4.

This deck did ok-ish, taking two out of four games in swiss and losing once in the top cut. I had some bad luck not drawing into Scarcity consistently, but I might have also overestimated how much money the deck makes, having played Azmari for so long. The games were usually pretty close though.

The agenda suite is a rip off from 6 agenda Azmari with a 15 Minutes and Improved Tracers thrown in there to round it off. The latter was actually pretty good in one game, where it bumped News Hounds and IP Block up to strength 5 and I had a strength 11 Surveyor. Hard-Hitting News was banned for this event, so I decided to just play it as a glacier build. You could also play Punitive in this deck. In fact, I was counting on my opponents to play around that.

Thanks again to Vesper for organising and to my opponent's for the great games. Looking forward to number 3.
