Sting (Like an Industrial Bee) v1.3

+2 Jackson Howard, +2 Commercialization, +1 Shadow, -1 Caduceus -2 Closed Accounts, -2 Ireress,

This version was developed to deal with some card-economy issues I've noticed. The two Jacksons should provide both the ability to draw into some of my operations / DRTs more quickly, and the ability to re-use played Scorched Earths and SEA sources. Commercialization rewards the corp for advancing the ICE.

One of the problems I am grappling with is that the minimal amount of ICE makes it hard to score Cleaners / Project Atlas with Counters. While this deck is perhaps best played as 'never advance', and then punishing the runner when they succeed, in practice this has never panned out.

I've been playing this deck very horizontally, hiding the agendas amongst assets and traps, and it helps extend the game to a point where I can catch the runner with some damage. I've debating including Shipment from Kaguya to advance some agendas/traps/ice during this phase of the deck, but I'm not sure if this will be enough.

Suggestions / comments welcome.

This is based on S(LIB) v1.2 - I really don;t understand this "Derived From" section. Shouldn't "Save as a copy of" make a new deck derived from the previous one?

What is the use of commercializations ? I played your 1.2 version and indeed economy was a bit tight and runner spent minimum credits to break through ice so it is hard to tag with sea source.

You are right on scoring the atlas counters and cleaners. But You can score them under the disguise of ghost branch though.

How do you make use of posted bounty tagging ability? Is it either install advance twice or install as the asset and advance thrice on following turn? Honestly I am not really fond on that agenda.

Overall, your 1.2 version clicks me better IMO.

The Commercializations were to help alleviate the cost of advancing the Shadows and Ice Walls. Also, since I don't use any static econ cards it's helps smooth out the economy. After playing this some more, I'm thinking Power Grid Overload might be a better card instead of the Commercializations, and target Plasteel Carapaces / Clone Chips.

I was using posted bounty as you describe advancing cleaners / atlas: advance under guise of Ghost Branch. Let it sit there with three counters on it, then score it as your turn begins, after you draw that second / third Scorched Earth

Yes, Plasteel carapace is the problem. I need all 3 SE to kill the runner (2 if I had score the cleaners) but to be able to score 3/5 agenda under low ICE count is really tough.

I just got the another idea of using ghost branch. Just install and double advance it. If runner does not bite it, install one more time and let it sit there as a posted bounty. It will give runner uneasy feeling.

I really have fun playing this deck. I played with a little tweak version of this deck. just need the small mistake from runner and man, he is dead.

What changes did you make?

I dropped commercializations, sea source, Jackson , restructure and added data raven, Pad and closed account. I am also thinking about dropping Elizabeth mills. If I think BP are not that serious issue, I might change her with restructure. To be honest, I haven't played many games with this changes. I will let you know later how it goes.
