Infinite Frontier

EnderA 501

Details forthcoming, but basically:

  • Recurring credits stick around through Nasir triggers.
  • Having 2 link frees up 2 memory (meaning a Dyson or Toolbox)
  • Faust is backup breaker if you go broke
  • Deus X protects Faust from Swordsman, plus saves you from net damage/Janus
  • Typical Nasir tricks

Current changes:

-2 Sure Gamble -1 Paricia

+1 Net Celebrity +1 Sharpshooter

Need to cut one. The candidates are: Diesel (probably not,) Net Celebrity, R&D Interface, Film Critic. In my opinion, everything else is critical, although I guess Deus X is a meta call.

I suppose there could be the triad of: Film Critic, Deus X, Sharpshooter - Pick 2.

I like playing Nasir without Sure Gamble, since you want most of your gear to come off PW anyway + use recurring credits, so that could be your 2 cards to cut. I really like Multithreader here. With PW and Order of Sol you can pretty much get it out for free. Instant value. Looks solid.

cut 2x Sure Gamble and Paricia I think. I've played against Nasir in testing before during which he said Paricia was not that much useful to warrant its slot. Most of the time you would want to setup and run a little bit here and there, rather than trying to contest their assets. It is worst than Scrubber when it comes to upgrades also.

+1 Net Celeb is my 45th card suggestion. It's really good in Nasir and you want it to be up constantly.

Great suggestions, I took them and I like them! Sure Gamble is definitely bad for Nasir, and Net Celebrity felt good. I didn't get a chance to use it since it was trashed by a scored Hostile Takeover, but the Bad Pub was even better. Paricia could be a meta call, but I agree that usually it's mediocre at best, and almost never worth using a Self-modifying Code on.

I really want to add a Sharpshooter. Faceplanting into Archer early on was brutal. I had to SMC out a Faust with 3 cards in hand so that I only lost one program... Oh, and I wish I could have more than 3 Clone Chips. (Scavenge wouldn't work great, since it's net zero programs on the board.)

However, I like all of the cards that are in already. Everything I drew felt useful, unless it was unique and I already had one, but those are the strongest cards, and the most important to get early. They're always Faust food at worst.

This deck takes a ton of math & planning (and is kind of stressful, because one misstep could cost you the game,) but was a blast to play. Definitely going to play it some more.
