Self-fortifying Code

I have finally found my favorite Builder of Nations deck.

This deck's synergies are related around using Oduduwa to Masvingo or other advanceable ice in the deck and bolstering up your defenses.

The basic premise is to throw Oduduwa on either R&D or HQ, depending on which runner you face. Use this to build up more and more tokens on a Masvingo either before or after it.

The more tokens on Masvingo, the better. It heavily taxes Paperclip and there are very few "Break any number of Barrier" icebreakers.

My previous iterations of this deck had zero influence used, but then I remembered Anansi existed and I haven't looked back. Anansi is the unexpected spice that makes facechecking very very punishing. Even if it didn't have the threat of the net damage, being able to pull a card from the first five of R&D is quite useful.

I decided on GTO because eventually, you will have a heavily taxing and very punishing remote and also I think the deckslots were best served around reinforcing your glaciers. I managed to score GTO out for the first time in my life at my local game store!

Priority Construction doesn't have to throw out an advanceable ice, either. I've used it to put an Anansi on top of an already 3 ICEd remote for 1 credit.

There's lots of money ultimately this deck can fail if you pull only expensive ice first or they snipe the GTO or other 5/3s off R&D early. I think with the very small agenda density though, the risk is pretty slim.

It's a fun deck and I love the idea that as the runner runs more, your defenses reinforce themselves stronger and stronger.

The only deck that gave me trouble was a Quetzal deck that had Morning Star, Laamb, Surfer and Knifed. Just carved up my servers.

Why 47 cards?

@lunchmoney I don't really think that BoN is strong enough to me with the 40 card minimum. I feel like, as is, the deck runs precisely as I want to. So mostly I mean that while 40 card can totally work, I couldn't find a way for it to operate the way I wanted at 40.

Why not slip two more in to dilute you agenda density a little? A third copy of something you only have two of, maybe?
