This is a System Gateway Only Deck

I am working on publishing a decklist for each of the factions, to give better options to teach the game to newer players, currently there are no bans in the System Gateway only format.

Check out Metropole Grid's Deckbuilding 101 Video's. Please watch his video's as they a great way to learn, as I based other decks off of the video's he completed.

Game Plan:

Your goal is to win by slowing down your opponents tempo and exhausting the runner's resources to effectively get through your ice. Destroying your opponents barrier icebreaker with Retribution is a great way to do this.

You do have the secondary goal of flatlining the runner with Orbital Superiority or any of your sentry ice.

Deck Explanation:

Agendas: *In System Gateway there are very limited options.

• Tomorrowʼs Headline is a great way to tag the runner and can be a great surprise to turn the tables if stolen

• Orbital Superiority is a great way to tag or damage the runner.

• Send a Message is nice to use to rez a Pharos or Funhouse. It also keeps our ratio high by being a 3 point agenda.

• Superconducting Hub gets us to 18 agenda points, leaving our deck with a high ratio 8:44 which ~1:5.5 Cards for the runner to find an agenda.

Economy:

• Hedge Fund & Hansei Review are great early economy and can be great sustain throughout the game. Depending on the stage in the game will impact what you should discard with Hansei Review and can be a great place to experiment.

• Regolith Mining License Is your staple to get ahead on credits, play this in your remote server, when possible, but you can also place this unprotected from time to time.

• Predictive Planogram can be used for credits or cards when needed, but you will want to use when you can tag the runner whenever possible for the most value. There will be matches where you will need to play it without the runner being tagged.

• Nico Campaign is great for some credits over a few turns without the cost of a click.

• Public Trail can be an economy piece when the runner has good economy (and the runner chooses to pay), but if you time this right when they don't have economy you can tag the runner and play Retribution.

Protection:

• Whitespace & Tithe are cheap and efficient ice that tax the runner in the early game and can be rez'd without large economy. Both of these can cause the runner clicks to recover cards or credits.

• Ping is a cheap piece of ice that will stop the runner without the right icebreaker and give them a tag. Sometimes it may be worth it to allow the runner past this ice to Suprise them later. Giving the runner a tag at the right time can be the key to winning.

• Funhouse is our core gameplan to tax the runner. We hope to make the runner spend clicks and credits to remove tags, and if not we can begin to use our actions against a tagged runner.

• Pharos is extremely strong once you advance it 3 times, and will stop the runner if you can find the clicks to invest in it. System gateway really doesn't have an easy way to deal with it.

• Karunā can be a nice surprise that the runner isn't expecting and is additional tax to strain the runner's resources.

Special Notes:

• Tag management can be tricky for runner, learning when runners are okay with holding tags is. If the runner decides to hold onto some tags finding your Retribution or scoring out an Orbital Superiority should be considered.

• Card draw is limited in system gateway, but if don't see reliable card draw like Spin Doctor or Predictive Planogram you should consider clicking to draw.

• Spin Doctor allows for you to shuffle in cards that have been trashed or played. Learning when and what targets to shuffle in with spin doctor is a great way to improve your skills.

• Retribution lets you remove breakers. Generally, you will want to focus getting rid of their barrier breaker to completely stop them, as most decks will not have a way to win if you can remove 2 of them.

• AMAZE Amusements Can be very powerful if triggered. Runners may not have the clicks or credits to remove the tags, leaving them open. It also makes losing an agenda hurt just a little less when stolen.
