Winning on 5 points should be fun _ Faster Jinteki Glacier

As a newer player since the beginning of this year, diving into the post-RWR meta has been an exhilarating challenge. This deck tries to leverage the Issuaq ID, to incentive/bait early aggressive runs to activate early Tributary / Saisentan value, or set up cheesy where did my turn go with an unexpected face check, which doubles as a poor man’s good green ICE influence budget wise.

The preferable scoring strategy revolves around double two pointers with Seamless / La Costa and win with Hybrid off hand (although quite a few times pre-installing Hybrid or even single advance Hybrid with La Costa felt good, to install the next Hansei facedown card with an Issuaq counter the next turn, while you’re not overly sad if the runner pay through big ICE’s to steal a one pointer) … where also quite often we just hard score Offworld for some tempo and win on 6 points, hoping the zero click anti-cataloguer technology find me the seamless while keeping the R&D safe for another turn or two.

On asset/upgrade choices, outside the undisputed star of the show I’m definitely regretting trading Hansei/Hedge for 2x NGO (with the original intent to bait runs but end up slowing myself down way more than taxing runners). I’m still agonizing if actually doing Jinteki branded stuff is worthwhile when the ID screams “come running”, although I’m quite confident we’re not rich enough (money & influence) to justify the yellow corporate man, especially replacing the crowned purple corporate man.

On ICE suite, nothing special outside the inclusion of a single Sadaka as tech in a deck that doesn’t really want rez much ICE on R&D, although the 1x makes it so inconsistent. It has yet to shoot down a single Twinning or R&D poking squad or meta solution to Brân, it still seemed sensible?

With this deck is doing okay on Jnet but still poorly in IRL, I can’t justify why we wouldn’t trade the ID and 6 seamless influence for scoring one more agenda with a whole lot more safety, the deck does gave me a lot of joy to pilot and has been invaluable to me personally in building this deck and engaging with the community. Thanks to all the seasoned players who've provided encouragement, feedback and the vibrant discussions post-games that have been instrumental and invaluable.

Lastly a huge shout-out to the Toronto Netrunner community – it’s amazing to find such dedicated and fun people who’s been keeping the scene so alive, fresh, and welcoming.

Make Issuaq a THING!

Netrunner’s an AMAZING game! 😉

[url=doodlejump2.org Jump[/url] is a perfect game for quick sessions. The endless jumping and increasing difficulty keep the game engaging. The simple controls are intuitive, and the doodle-style graphics are fun and quirky.
