Smoke and Dagger

Black Hat Madman 72

This is a legacy list, to be honest. This was my go-to deck for most events at my LGS. If it's not that great, I apologize; I started playing Netrunner a few months before the announcement it was ending. Considering most of the guys at my LGS had gone to Worlds at least once, I think I did pretty well.

I built this deck because of one card: Smoke. When I was starting out, one of the guys at my LGS gave me a bunch of promo full-art cards, one of which was Ele "Smoke" Scovak. I wanted an excuse to use her and looked up a deck that used her as the ID. However, that was a very old deck list. As in Temüjin Contract and New Angeles City Hall. So I made some modifications to it. I got some help after the first draft, but found I kept getting flatlined with how much net damage I would stupidly take, so I found space for Feedback Filter. He also suggested Gauss, which really crippled my deck because of how expensive it gets if you don't bounce it.

Then comes the rotation. Not only did I lose my console and two of my stealth credit sources, but I lost my killer. Switchblade was the best stealth killer I found at the time. Thankfully, with Uprising, I have some cards to replace them with.

I'll be keeping this deck, just in case I decide to play an Eternal game. Like I said, it's a legacy list, and I want to make sure it's preserved to some extent.
