A Good Acme Deck - 12th Place, New York Regionals

Sanjay 3561

The deck did very well at New York Regionals, going 4-1, beating CV MaxX, CV MaxX, CV MaxX, CV Val, and losing a game to Bendy MaxX.

I find ice placement in this deck really challenging, particularly because different ice turns on and off depending whether Employee Strike is active, whether the runner is going tag me, whether the ice is outermost, and whether the runner has an answer to traps, particularly if that answer is an AI.

Ice tuning was pretty hard too. I think the Pachinko probably isn't doing enough work and I wish it was a different ice.

The most cutable influence in the deck are the Economic Warfare, though the card is quite nice.

Please do not play this deck in the casual lobby of Jinteki.net.

Looks fun, but I worry about CV Maxx. Any thoughts on how to improve that matchup?

I'd be interested to know more about the CV Maxx and CV Val matchups. Any experience with these?

I wonder whether this deck can beat CV MaxX, I guess I will have to try it on Jinteki.net.

infoverload still seems bad

Info Overload is still bad with the Acme ability. It's in the deck as punishment for a runner going tag-me. It didn't do anything of consequence on the day.

It might be cutable, but I want to get some playtesting against CV Max first before I commit to that.
