[STANDARD] Punitive Swatting

Do you enjoy being disgustingly rich? Do you want to make Saraswati and NAPD Cordon viable? Then look no further than this deck!

This deck is incredibly flexible. The ice suite is tough enough to go glacier, you can play shell games with Saraswati, you can score naked agendas (more on that later), or you can straight up murder the runner with Punitive Counterstrike. Let's go over the key gimmick that makes this all work.

  1. Install and advance an agenda with Saraswati.
  2. Advance the agenda a second time.
  3. Play NAPD Cordon to raise the cost of stealing that agenda to 8 credits.

If the runner opts to pay 8 credits to steal the agenda, they'll likely be dangerously low on credits and thus vulnerable to Punitive Counterstrike. You'll be incredibly rich due to all of your econ operations and Mwanza City Grid, so landing two Punitives (or even three if you hit a Steelskin Scarring) should be relatively easy. Bacterial Programming and Gaslight can fetch you more Punitives if you don't have enough in HQ to flatline. Simulation Reset is there to shuffle any trashed Punitives back into the deck, and it can also work as quasi draw. Is HQ filled with ice you don't need? Trash it all and shuffle your Punitives, Spin Doctors, and NAPD Cordons back into the deck. Corporate Hospitality is another way to bounce Punitives back to hand, though you can swap this for something else if you wish.

What if the runner is a little bitch and avoids your remotes? You can punish that with Reversed Accounts (again using Saraswati to drain an extra 4 credits from the runner's crypto wallet). Keeping a couple Snares floating around HQ and R&D can make for a nasty surprise for the runner, especially if they access an unexpected number of cards due to Mwanza City Grid. I've gotten multiple flatlines from double Snare! accesses alone. Also, even if Mwanza causes them to access an agenda, you'll be prepped with an assload of cash to land some juicy Punitives. Bonus points if they stole two agendas and die to a single 6-damage Punitive.

What are you waiting for? Go out there, make oodles of cash, bankrupt the runner, then give them some meaty bitch slaps if they even think about stealing your agendas. Or just score out lmao. The choice is yours.

Later on I made the following changes:

-1 Corporate Hospitality

-2 Gaslight

+1 Malia

+1 Sprint

+1 Cerebral Overwriter.

The Corporate Hospitality wasn't pulling its weight, and the Gaslights kept getting trashed so I replaced them with Sprint. The Malia was a recent edition after one too many post-steal Class Act installs nullified my Punitives. The Cerebral Overwriter is a nice advanceable trap that lowers the runner's hand size so you (might) need one fewer Punitive.

Have you thought of Urtica? Also, no jashida?

@Thechyper I found Urtica to not be getting enough value to be worth including. Sure, you might be able to get 4 net off, but it's not impactful enough to justify the risk of losing tempo if the bluff fails. Also, I tried to shy away from assets because I'm giving the runner central accesses with Mwanza, so they'd often get trashed.
