Philotic Pain

Diegofsv 1368

What is going on here? Why so many agendas? Why so much pain? Everything hurts here...and the runner will suffer to get a single agenda point. More agendas in his score area, more dangerous Philotic Entanglemnt gets. Forces him to add some Shi.Kyu there and we are in for a threat. You dont have too much eco cards because you dont need. Score what you can fast, go crazy in remotes, lay traps and always try to put these future perfects in your archives. NEVER INSTALL IT. Go, and kill the pesky runner.

I put together something similar a little while back, but this seems like a much more effective implementation. How well has it done for you?

Its a little too risky, but playing it fast can force most runners into a fatal error. Either way, its not a hard thing to be constantly poor and thats a bad thing here. But I do kill a lot with this deck. Need a little more tuning I guess but its shaping well.

this needs fast track so you can tutor your philotic for the kill

I might try it out. Looks like a lot of fun.

@steevo15 yes, it needs Fast Track. I dont know why I change it but it need it. Another great card is Shiro or Yagura. I'll remove 1 Swordsman 1 Pup and 1 shock For 2 fast tracks and 1 Shiro. Shiro is just too awesome in R&D to be ignored. In the late game, when you fast track Philotic, the runner will run like a madman because he knows he will lose. Generally, he makes a fatal error. Another great thing is fast track clone Retirement and score it in a SanSan.

I had a build where I ran smalls and fast track for philotic flatline late game. Hold shocks and snares and fetals in hand for that turn, and trick of light to score from the remote. I actually ran 2 rework, just to stuff it back in the deck until needed. Mine lacked protection, I think 2 shiro, 2 inazuma and your archers would have pumped the value of what I did...I'll have to check it out. Nice deck.

@x3r0h0ur Fetal AI was holding this deck back. While it seems a good ideia, most of the times these 2pts make the difference against me. So I tried TFP, wich is something you will not score it (just like fetal), it trims down my number of agendas and its harder for the runner to steal it. Yeah, if he steals it, its really bad news but most of the time, you will be saved by it. RSVP helps a lot in it.
