Runner 18th Place Worlds 2014

I expected to play against a bunchy of NEH and instead got to meet 2 NEH, 2 Blue Sun and 3 Jinteki: RP. Went 4-3 with 1 loss against NEH and 2 losses against RP (one being against Dan who later one the tournament, the other was against niles round 7 who made the cut to t16).

I really needed to have some Parasites available for the RP games, and some slots (like the E3) was because I hadn't tested that much against Blue Sun and didn't want to run into one of the bioroid builds with Janus (with some value against all the Eli in the other match-ups). The Shutdowns might be better as Inside Job, but in geneeral I think everyone is pretty good at playing around Inside Job and shutdown in the right circumstances can really hurt.

Been experimenting with a bunch of different breakers before worlds but most of the others didn't feel good enough against NEH where you need a complete rig yesterday. The second Corroder is against Blue Sun that like to Power Shutdown, but if I would revise the list for the current meta that would likely be a Breach instead so I can fit in a Parasite.

It might be time to start cutting Datasuckers, against NEH and RP they do pretty much nothing and cost influence as well as slots.
