Ask Jeeves (GNK Winner)

Snake Eyes 4651

Just won a small GNK with this deck. It is basically a Rush/Fast Advance hybrid deck. Jeeves Model Bioroids acts as both economy (click for 3 , then install getting an EtF credit), or something to help facilitate fast advancing, or just to help speed you up if you've installed a whole bunch of things the previous turn and you need to power-draw. (3x draw, install)

In terms of ways of scoring, you have multiple options.

  1. You can never-advance with this deck, using Haas-Bioroid's ample 2/3 Agendas, or 2/4 agendas using Jeeves to advance 3 times, then gain a click, using it to advance.

  2. You can play Shipment from SanSan, play a 2/3 agenda, then play Shipment from SanSan, gaining an extra click from Jeeves, and advancing it.

  3. You can do the classic Biotic Labor for a 2/3 agenda, or with Jeeves you can never advance a Global Food Initiative with a biotic as well (Biotic Labor, advance x 3, gain a click, advance 2x)

  4. If you have an Efficiency Committee scored you are able to fast advance using Shipment from SanSan.

With 17 pieces of ICE, this deck is able to withstand the initial storm of the Anarch Rage right now most of the time, especially considering that you only really care about 1 or 2 remote servers at most. (Jeeves being lightly ICEd is ok, depending on the match-up). The ICE decisions have been made with the consideration of being miserable to break with Faust and/or money, while all having a good rez to strength ratio.

I've been fiddling with a few versions of this deck, and I feel as though there are some small tweaks that will be made as the archetype becomes clearer, with Lateral Growth subbing in for the Shipment from MirrorMorph being one of the more obvious changes.

Can you really use Shipment from SanSan twice with Jeeves without Biotic? Don't you have to have a fourth click before you can play the Shipment and doesn't Jeeves require you to spend three clicks before you get the fourth? I can see biotic - shipment - shipment - advance scoring a 5/3 though.

I can only presume thats a typo... in point 2 above, the first sansan should be mirrormorph. Mirrormorph installs the 3/2, sansan adds 2 counters, 3 clicks have been spent on operations, jeeves triggers, gives another click, third advance and score.

Do you find Architect to still be as useful without asset-based economy to recur with it? I know with Subliminal Messaging your doubles essentially play for a single click, but I'm not convinced that Blue Level Clearance is better than Adonis Campaign for economy.

At least that has been my experience thus far with a similar Jeeves Model Bioroids deck.

@MasterPrudent I think he meant play Shipment from MirrorMorph first to install the agenda, then Shipment from SanSan gains you a Jeeves click. After the Fear the Masses data pack comes out, you'll also be able to use Lateral Growth to install your agendas for the same effect.

In his point 2, he meant to say to use Subliminal Messaging first. That + Shipment from SanSan = Jeeves trigger allowing a fast advance.
