Titan Space Camp - Core x 3 / Deluxe x 1 MWL 1.1 Format

The Broken Meeple 1

Look no memes! That's because I like looking at decks more! Plus it's really annoying browsing this at work in an open plan office when everyone puts flashy big memes on every page. Seriously, what's the point?! :P

I'm due to participate in a casual tournament soon that has a rather unique format to what I've seen before, please see below:

Core x 3 Deluxe x 1 - only allowed one deluxe in total to cater for BOTH Runner & Corp MWL 1.1 & Recent Errata in full effect.

As you can see, the point of this tournament is provide a great entry point for new players who only have a few cards. I personally relish the challenge, but yes it's a challenge as I'm used to tweaking other people's ideas on here! :P If I wasn't blogging all the time I'd have more time to focus on deck building skills!

Now I can do Criminal/Jinteki (more my style) or Anarch/Weyland as I suck with Shaper and HB. Weyland would normally do the whole "I Sea Scorch, Win" tactic but that's boring and I'll bet there will be a lot of Anarch players with IHW present. So I thought I'd try to resurrect a fun archetype that never really got anywhere near Tier 1 in the past in the funky Space Ice. Titan seems like the best identity for this purpose.

Unfortunately we don't have Trick of Light or Jackson Howard, so here's my first draft. Problem is I can't think of any decent cards to throw in for influence so I'm wasting a ton of spare influence here with Titan's 17 spare and only have 6 to my name! Archived Memories is for bringing back the economy operations primarily as we're obviously limited on money here. Standard Space ICE suite, an unorthodox agenda suite but remember we don't have Geothermal Fracking or Project Atlas here and if I'm lucky a Priority will make for a nice cheap rez.

Thoughts? I'll likely do a deck for the other ideas I had on here also.

You may have a very hard time scoring those 5/3s with the slow ice setup you have. I would recommend an Aggressive Secretary or 2 to (tutu?) masquerade as big agendas. If one hits it can reset your opponent's rig. If your opponent trashes one or more from a central they might be more wary of running remotes.

Another option is to run space ice out of Gagarin Deep Space: Expanding the Horizon. Constellation Protocol and PAD Campaign become more annoying to trash, and you could try red herrings as agenda protection on your scoring remote. In that case you probably wont want any bad pub at all, so its a completely different deck at that point.

Anyway good luck!

Gagarin was the other alternative, but I only had a lot of success with them when doing an asset spam deck. That being said, it would still probably have more synergy than Titan for this style of deck - still got to upload the other 2-3 ideas when I get a chance.
