Demon Chess

Pinkwarrior 2351

So I wanted to try Faust out of faction & Exile: Streethawk seemed like the best place. Originally I was going to do a deck that used Faust as an early breaker to throw big programs into the heap to transition into as the game go's on.

However it struck me that the Street Chess deck seemed to be the place to start with all the extra draw from Pawn put to good use and e3 Feedback Implants already a staple of the deck thanks to Overmind.

As it turns out the deck runs well and Faust really combo's well with Overmind allowing you to choose between money or cards to get through and Faust been better at high Str ICE. Not having much influence left I decided to use Chameleon as a back up when needed & it's earn't it's place been a sue-do mimic and freeing up it MU at end of turn also I hadn't realized it at the time but it go's back in your hand after you discard down meaning it can help against damage in a pinch 2.

Looks really fun, keen to give it a go as my next deck. Haven't seen much Faust shenanigans in Adelaide yet.

@Softman25 It works well, I don't think ill do much with it tho cos its a little fiddly trying to play it Online I'll only really be playing this in person.

Just tried it on OCTGN, really needs some more econ, struggled all the time. I don't think you can pressure remotes enough to justify Nerve Agent, takes soooo long to set up that they'll have a very secure scoring remote and agendas just get dropped in that.

@Dracon_ian Interesting I didn't really have any econ problems when I played it maybe I've been fortunate with it tho.

You maybe right about Nerve Agent i just prefer it over HQI in shaper cos its searchable I was finding I were mainly hammering R&D tho so maybe its worth just dropping.

Might be worth a Legwork or something to at least threaten HQ at some point in the game. You can hammer RnD all you want but when you do - the agendas are always in hand - and vice versa of course. :)

Also with SOT already in the deck, always a good threat to the corp.

@Softman25 Yeah that's worth trying out.
