NBN #3 - Restructuring News v2

Update to integrate new cards.

I replaced Midseason by ChiLo since a rich runner is hard to with Midseason. ChiLo on HQ with TMI is a good defense against Siphon.With TGBT in hand, it is much better :-)

I hesitated between Closed Account and Hellion Alpha Test but i choosed to splash Hellion because it could be hard to tag a cautious runner, hence Closed Account is useless. Hellion is awesome in late game to trash Kati Jones with 9+ credits. I had the choice between 1 Closed Accounts and 1 Hellion but i prefer to have 2 Hellion in order to have a better chance to have 1 in hand when i want to.

Why not Market Research? Since half your ice and upgrades can tag, I would have thought a 4/3 agenda was a sure-fire bet. Swap them for the NAPDs, if you are set on using Hellion and Muckraker. NAPD loses stock fast if you end up with BP.

If you are worried about your ability to tag them, as implied with the lack of closed accounts, why do you have psychographics? You need to be able to drop at least 2 tags on them for that to be worth it at all. And if you can tag them at all, then you can trash their resources without recourse to Hellion.

With regards to your comments, TMI with Chilo is no better than any other ETR ice at stopping Siphon. If they're playing Siphon, they're not worried about tags. If you spend all your money boosting the TMI trace, where does that leave you? Don't get me wrong, I really like both cards, but I just feel it isn't the be-all and end-all.

I think your deck is a little scattered at the moment: Psychographics and Hellion work on different lines, NAPD is negatively impacted by four of your cards. I would replace the NAPDs with Market Research and the Hellions with Midseasons if you want to go all taggy, or at least replace the muckrakers if you don't.

How to you generally play this deck? Stacked ice? Rush?

Your are certainely right about agenda composition.

I said that TMI+Chilo are great against Siphon because TMI, once raised, it cost 4 to pass with Corroder and like you said, the money lost by siphoning is better spent on a the trace.

Chilo on HQ is for let the runner tagged on the corp's turn (except with Lawyer Up in hand). Hunter + TMI + Chilo is problably the best defense.

But you are right, i am struggling with NBN in order not to be scattered. In fact, i am balanced between Midseason and Hellion. To go all taggy or not. I am a found of Bernice also.

I play generally rush with NBN. The goal is to score AstroScript ASAP.
