umm cast calling effect still applies, since the agenda is still accessed. the only reson other cards have an issue is that the agenda itself has the when accessed effect since the effetc cant trigger by the time it hits film critic becouse the card is accessed. , cards that also activate on access still apply.

@Karia I'm afraid you're incorrect. Film Critic has an 'on access' effect, and as the active player, the runner chooses the order that 'on access' effects resolve in. So they resolve Film Critic first, and then due to Film Critic's ability, are no longer accessing the agenda. As such, 'on access' corp abilities don't trigger.

but the effect is, the card is no longer been accessed, not "the card was never accessed" the fact it is no longer been accessed doesn't take away from the fact that an access accrued, is there a specific FAQ ruling im missing here? or are we still pending one?

Unfortunately, ninja is correct. This is the same ruling that allows Femme to ignore Komainu and Tollbooth.

yes but if you use femme on a piece of ice that had been chumed, you still get hit for the chum, this is where my logic comes from. sure you ignore the when encountered effect of the tollbooth, but you stil have encountered toolbooth for the purposes of other card effects that involved like chum.

if the text for the gain tags comes from the cast calling card then he should still get the tags, if they are added to the agenda in question, then yes they will be ignored by film critic.
