I genuinely thought that it was over for this Seb shell with Contaminate rotating and the Imp turning into its much less slot efficient cousin. I was wrong!

Transfer of Wealth is absurdly gas for Seb, it's ridiculous. The numbers are equivalent to Hot Pursuit, you can play it from 0 (really big with Crew), and you get to drain the corp of 3c every time you hit it. With Katorga Breakout as my main recursion solution with Labor Rights gone, you can get this back to hand immediately to disrupt scoring windows without needing to touch the remote, and act surprisingly proactively for an archetype that generally aims to sit back and wait for the points to come to it. Multiple times this tournament I essentially Time Walked a corp by hitting them with this over an eroded HQ after they spent the turn clicking for credits. Magic.

I wasn't expecting myself to be so hot on Gourmand either, but it's really good forward momentum and it solves the problem of needing to "kick-start" Audrey by near-guaranteeing a counter if you can just touch one card. I found myself recurring it a lot of times over Fermenter with Praccess.

There's some cuts presenting themselves - Shred didn't do anything for me, I can probably cut 1x Rent Rioters so it's just there to be recurred to shore up the assets matchups, and Eye for an Eye might go down by 1x with Gourmand applying so much HQ pressure.
I'm finding myself missing Buffer Drive, but I'm not sure I'd prefer it being in the deck over TCA - the options are basically 3x ToW + 1x Buffer or 2x ToW + TCA, and it'll take experimentation to figure out what's actually best. If Buffer goes in, a Katorga probably goes out.

My corp was the Evil Ob I posted a few days ago - I had an excellent game in semis with Tyrus where he correctly recognised that his win condition was to not let me drop into Bladderwort range while he charges up a double Deep Dive turn to steal 7 points in one turn. Shame that I couldn't Seb in the final, but I enjoyed myself.

this looks pretty hot, ima need to give it a try. Are we Shred believers though?

@AugustusCaesarI had to cut 1x Pinhole for inf so I thought it was a good-enough replacement - I haven't fired it at all in testing or tournament so it's probably a bust. Likely we're totally fine into remote-building decks that run Skunkvoid because we can just trash the ice in front of it (certainly was true pre-rotation). I think it's probably a fine 1x in a more reg deck, just not a good fit here.

What about Bling, did you experiment with it?

28 Apr 2025 eden_online

@Lukas Ani we are already running solidarity badge because we have to clear tags on-tempo, so it's a choice between a near-guaranteed two real cards per turn or a much harder to trigger maybe two fake cards per turn, after committing to installs, that can't be used as fuel by Audrey or Bankhar. I didn't even need to experiment with it

Congrats on the strong showing! How did the matchups into Nebula feel like?

It's like Same Old Thing and Account Siphon never left us. Can't wait to take this for a spin.

@pouchoflavenderthank you! I managed to dodge Nebula all tournament iirc, but in the jnet casual games I've played so far into unoptimised lists I've been able to steamroll - you've got enough econ to take advantage of slow windows and set up, and then once you're assembled you can set them back heavily by looping ToW and e4e. My best guess is that as the lists and the pilots get better it will be harder, but I think it will continue to be seb favoured despite our historical difficulties with FA decks. The versions on tag stuff are a bit annoying, Doomscroll is among two other 3-cost 3-str ice in the format (Semak-samun, Maskirovka) in being irritating to crew and good into at least one of our other ice solutions so I might end up teching in 1x leech, maybe in the charm slot.

Congrats I was hoping to see your Seb continue, I do wonder if the meta will become more tag punishment centric as it seems like there a few cards pushing it toward that on the Corp side.

@Supernaut thank you! I think tag punishment is realistically something that we can disrupt and tank. Bigger Picture is the largest threat, taking out our small economic margin and opening a scoring window - fortunately, Rent Rioters and Fermenter can be played with more copies if this becomes predominant to be better at bouncing back. EotL is basically fake as long as you're careful, as much as it's spooky.

I think the Cobra said you played against a Nebula in Round two or three – but it probably says something if you can't remember the match.

In any case, I'm really excited to jam this more – I've already made someone on jnet quite miserable with it.
