Parasital Nightmare v3

Ratatosk 71

The third iteration substitutes two Nerve Agents for one Femme Fatal and one Liberated Accounts.
I have playtested this renewed deck quite intensively this weekend and had some nice successes against a large variety of Corp-factions.

What you aim for is usually an early Wyldside, an early Personal Workshop as well as some economy cards, such as Sure Gamble, Liberated Accounts, Dirty Laundry or Daily Casts. A nice way to open the match is Sure Gamble + cheap Virus (best is Datasucker) + Dirty Laundry on Archives, which happens rather often. Brings quite a lot of credits and with a little luck the first agenda.

What really works surprisingly well, are sudden R&D rushes, usually initiated by a Stimhack in order to have enough credits to install Mediums from Personal Workshop or Clone Chips, as well as the for the installation of Parasites and usage of Wyrm to destroy ICE.
The then unprotected R&D can be dug deeply. Apart from Agendas it is also absolutely annoying for the Corp if you destroy ICE with Imp-tokens.

Currently I am really satisfied with the mechanics this deck provides. Though I am considering including some New Angeles City Halls in order to be protected against Sea Source/Posted Bounty +Scorched Earth or Breaking News + Closed Accounts, as especially the latter is a pain in the ass. Also it allows last-click-runs against potential Snares.
I wouldn't know, though, which cards to drop out. Maybe just increase deck size to 48. A resource-tutor would be amazing, but completely overpowered in this deck :)

Looks solid for a one core build. I think the R&D rush is a strong option as is the sure gamble, virus, virus, dirty laundry. Glad to see it's working out for you. :)

I just had my first one-turn-win with this deck :) Corp does not protect R&D. I install a Medium and run R&D with Dirty Laundry. I steal a Priority Requisition in that run. I then run again and trash Director Howard with the money I received from Dirty Laundry for another 2 agenda points. The second card I gained access to was a Private Security Force. And I even had a click left :)

Why Femme? She's 9 credits. I dunno she just doesn't seem worth it to me half the time.

i'd put in a feedback filter or crypsis

I just come home from our local A:NR group where I scored 4-0 with this deck against 4 different Corps. It really played smoothly and I can only suggest, that you give it a try - with the exact cards of this publish.

Really, do not worry about not being able to break ICE. You are. And you will. The recurring Parasites are a pain in the ass and there is nothing that can stop them from destroying the ICE if you have your Wyrm installed and a few credits or Datasucker tokens. You don't actually always need them. This deck provides you with such a lot of economy that you even have the money right away. I trashed a Heimdall 2.0 with a Parasite, an ICE carver and 11 credits. Yes, that is fucking expensive. But actually, the Corp spent 11 credits while I spent 13 (minus potential Cyberfeeder credits). So you basically paid 2 credits netto and that ICE is now gone. It is simply amazing.

@Cemehiden: You really don't want Crypsis. When you have Wyldside, you don't have the Clicks to put Virus counters on him. The Femme is expensive, hell yeah. But she really can do her Job. I usually install her to gain access to an otherwise impenetratable server (often a remote with a card that is likely an agenda). And then again, suddenly you don't need Parasites for Sentrys anymore. You usually have your Datasucker tokens and dont need a lot of money on the Femme.

I am really really satisfied with this deck and the more I learn about the game and this deck, the more I love it. If I were to change something, I would most likely put in a Corroder for a Deja Vu (which I rarely play, the Parasites in game have always been sufficient) and an Aesops Pawnshop for a Clone Chip. It might come in handy to trash empty Imps, next to empty Daily Casts and of course the Wyldside, if it has served enough :)

this deck looks loads like my various ice destruction decks, which ulimately has found a home in my reina deck. the principals are sound, but like mine, it looks like it suffers from either terrible draw economy or work compression (both common anarch problems due to wyld side being the only draw econ). having not played it, i assure people this concept works, and is nearing its potential.

if you can find room, same old thing adds more parasite recursion with deja, and flexible stimhack play.
