Trolls in Control

This deck went 4-0 at our massive Store Championship of 10 players. It's also proven to do well on OCTGN, winning about 80% of its games. It's the first deck I put together myself, and spent the time developing over 50+ games with friends and on OCTGN. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty pleased with my first serious deckbuilding attempt.

This deck likes to tag the runner when possible, and Midseason Replacements is great if you can get it to land. However, the deck is not afraid to resort to standard fast advance if necessary.

There's only one copy of Shoot the Moon, but even if you don't get the Midseason off, the runner hitting Virgo or a Dracō at the right time can let you rez a Tollbooth, Archer, or Information Overload for minimal cost.

Troll is a fantastic piece of ICE in Making News, and the understated star of this deck. It's cheap to rez, incredibly taxing to the runner over the course of the game, and not even a particularly convenient target for Parasite. Put it in front of whatever server you think the runner will attack most and watch them choose to lose click after click after click. Or just not run.

There's enough ETR ICE in the deck to score early in a remote without the fast advance tools. But it's obviously better if you find those Biotics and get an Astro scored.

Economy isn't great (same package as the recent Moonbase Alpha deck), but the ICE is relatively inexpensive and taxing enough to buy you time to get the cards you need into your hand. Daily Business Show helps. Honestly, it's not the worst thing in the world to have to click for credits from time to time.
