With the Bristol Startup CO coming up I wanted to challenge myself a bit and try my hand at deck building for once. I settled on what is probably some fairly obvious stuff but I've found it to be surprisingly effective. It's really simple to pilot, scores out fast and is very consistent. Went undefeated in the JNet casual mines (very objective measure I know) in the weeks up to the tournament leaving me very confident in it and put in a solid showing on the day itself.

Very simple gameplan, just set up one big remote, sit on a Charlotte for a few turns if possible but otherwise just start jamming agendas and scoring out ASAP. With a single bran and any 1 additional piece of ice the runner is going to have a hard time repeatedly contesting it especially if you've got any of the defensive upgrades down. All goes well you'll be 4/5 points up and sitting on a Nisei counter before the runner has really got going. I've found quite often runners will be playing cautiously expecting the nastier Jinteki ice rather than this fairly vanilla stuff so use that to your advantage 😈

I did think about changing up the ice suite a little, maybe Boto could replace Bran and free up some influence and I feel you could probably do better than palisade but I'm not sure what it'd be.

Some quick game reports:

Went 2-1 one the day, with a loss to my mortal enemy Mr. Vellis. Got flooded early on which gave him 5 points before I could stabilize but I only managed to see and score 4 points before we went to time. Many thanks for him playing far faster than he had any need to towards the end on my behalf ❤️ Super tense game.

Games 2 and 3 went a lot more smoothly, with me managing to just about score out before I could be stabbed by a Mercury and some incredible luck in my final game against an Ari which saw a both a burner completely whiff on 1 agenda in hand out of 4 and a cataloger also completely missing.

I played Arissana as runner, with a deck list I'd be much less likely to recommend to anyone!

Really fun event as always, GGs to all my opponents and thanks to Baa Ram Wu for organizing.
