Psychic Blast v2

An updated version of my Nisei Division deck after some initial experiments with the ID.

The main idea of this deck is that it uses PSI ICE as either Pop-ups when it wants money, or fights the PSI when it wants to block access. I've added Successful Demonstration to capitalize on that by randomly denying access with a Sundew or Bullfrog and then getting the money.

The deck strategy is Never Advance, with a side-order to Tag Punishment. I make one big remote and then start cycling my agendas and ambushes through it and hope I get them to hit the latter and let me score the former. Given lack of exposes in decks lately, it seems to work decently.

I've added more econ than the previous version because I found out that the runners would just not run through my ICE to give me money. So I try to put up some pressure via Mélange which works good with a Never Advance strategy.

Cerebral Cast is a star in Nisei Division. It costs me almost nothing to play, and if my opponent is below 4 cards, above 8 credits or has expensive resources, they will usually go for 1 brain damage rather than lose 4 cards or risk a flatline, making further cerebral casts even scarier and the lone scorched easier to get through. The Archived Memories order is there to retrieve either the single Jackson, or the Scorch for the flatline, or the occasional Closed Accounts if it makes sense.

The Shinobis are a new addition I'm testing since I don't have asset econ, so the 1 BP doesn't hurt that bad, and if I have a lot of money and/or a RSVP above it, it can be an instant flatline. And even if not, a follow up cerebral casts or scorch might do it instead.

Don't you feel a Shinobi is bad for this deck? Let alone 2? I'm trying to make a Nisei Division deck currently and came to the conclusion that the Bad Pub you give basically negates the loss of money for the runner during bids ... they can't use it during Cerebral Cast, but that's about it.

Thinking currently of using in some way either Restoring Face or Clone Ret/Veteran Program if I want to run Shinobis.

It's won me some games and it's a pretty decent taxing ice. But honestly, there's just not that many bids usually when I play.

If the biding is so low, why not run PE over Nisei Division then? lol

My guess is that you will just have to adjust the econ a bit
