AmpX (v. 2.03) (Spin Doctors)

greyfield 3915

Changes from 2.02:

  • 1 Quest Completed --> 1 Turntable - Turntable is really good. Not only does it make it easier to deal with your program set, about which see below, but the swap effect is really nice. Most decks can't make much use of Turntable, because it requires (a) the corp has scored an agenda, (b) you score an agenda afterward, and (c) your agenda was worse than theirs, which is kind of wonky. But this is the kind of deck that is happy to let the corp take an agenda or two and then start scoring out of R&D. Not only is Turntable excellent against Domestic Sleepers, it just plain makes you more consistent. While Quest was always pretty good, and was responsible for a couple of wins in the past, it's much harder to set up, it suffers from the same splash damage (Caprice and Crisium) as the rest of the deck, and it can't be put on the board and saved for later like Turntable can.
  • 1 Sure Gamble --> 1 Parasite - This was a little heartbreaking a choice, but Swordsman is still a thing (and hey, people may even start playing it more again once they release the promo Swordsmen this summer). Right now, I think the card you cut for it is up to you - the third copy of Keyhole, Sure Gamble, or Amped Up. I just decided that the deck has enough money right now, and I like not having to worry about retrieving a Keyhole if several get Injected. Or, hey, if you're feeling sassy, you could play a 46th card. I don't think that's some kind of crime.

I think the standard is to play 47, due to the maths of her ability.

I like the idea of the doubles play, but I can't help but think Frame Job is only there to make up the numbers. Surely it would be better to replace it with something useful, regardless of it being a double or not?

Triple Singularity is a sneaky way to get remote pressure.

I would only run 47 if I couldn't get down to 45 without losing power in the deck. Running 47 due to the draw is dumb, especially when you're using inject and IHW and there is 0 chance you won't click to draw, throwing off the even division of 47-5

Makes sense; I withdraw my initial statement.
