Ken gets a Job

Basically, my retry on Ken having just gotten the OnC box.

The concept is to keep pressure on the centrals, with only running on remotes if RnD lock isn't established.

Event choices: Aside from the standard fare that one would expect, I'll talk about the interesting choices:

  • 1 x Forked: Nothing like killing an Archer with a Faerie, I'd suspect. It may not be the easiest play to set up, but it may be worth it. There's also the Komainu headache which can easily be taken care, or any Pups running around. The extra SoT can recur this if need be.

  • 3 x Easy Mark: A good way to burst back after an expensive run. This may be the first cuts if I feel something else should come in, but for now it's there as I haven't judged the econ of the deck yet.

-2 x Day Job: This feels situational, even as I type this. It's taking a turn off the pressure, but I feel this is a mid game card, especially after you've taxed them by forcing a bunch of rezzing. Even cheaper with the PpVPs, it can be a Melange for 10. Right now it's debating this vs a Stimhack in this spot, almost the same money for nearly none of the clicks. Still, need to get some game time with this.

  • 0 x Maker's Eye: I think having the 2 RnD interfaces out and firing on the other events I play may just be worthwhile. Nothing like Inside Job into 3 RnD access.

Not sure if anything else stands out as odd or clumsy, but until I actually get some table time with it [tomorrow is gonna be a field day], I'm still unsure. On paper, it feels like it's a decent deck with some good tempo, so the Day Job is still a bit tricky as an include as it may tempo hit me harder than I'd like.

In any case, would love some feedback!
