22 Feb 2014 AkAnderson I tend to run a little bit more expensive and more powerful ICE in my decks that are banking on Accelerated Beta Test. I feel like you're getting more bang for your buck, so to speak. It doesn't look like you're hurting for economy, why not try something a little bigger?
23 Feb 2014 jleuze The catch is that I'm not just hoping for successful ABTs, I also need to get three cheap ice in my opening hand so I can get a strong start with NEXT and ideally install an ABT, Gila, or MMC first turn. For that to work, I need a GLC or Hedge Fund first turn, and some cheap ice so that I can afford to rez the ice and still advance the agenda. This deck is all rush and either wins or loses quickly. It would be nice to cheat out some really big ice with ABT, but it I can pull out a Viper and a Caduceus off it and not give the runner any agendas, that's a great boost to my defenses. Really I'm tempted to go even cheaper, unless I score an Efficiency Committee with a MMC or Gila to cash in on I'm generally low on credits. Paying for a Heimdall can be tough, and Rototurret can be too expensive to bother with unless you can actually take out a program with it.
