But I just paid for that?

Create ICE to either scare off the runner or they pay not to die and then pay some more because they have to gamble for the steal.

Are you sure this is the best identity for this deck? With most of your Agendas being 2-pointers, and no Neural EMPs, you dont seem to be going for the kill, though you are running Ronins, so it is a bit confusing. In my opinion, Neural EMPs are essential when going for a Net Damage win. But if you are just trying to tax the runner, Replicating Perfection may actually work better (even if you plan to really just run one single big remote server).

As for the Ice, assuming you are going with the primary strategy on one big remote server protected by Caprice, you may have some timing issues. All of your code gates require specific placement: Cell Portal is only really effective when it is the innermost piece of Ice in a server with 4+ ice, Sensei is the same but must be the outermost, and Chum is best behind a Data Mine or a high strength piece of Ice. This timing risk can be mitigated with either Midori or Sunset, and it might be worth adding one or two cards to make it less risky.

Also, why the Hives? Hives work well in a deck designed to kill, or even for eatly protection in a Jinteki deck with lots of 1-point Agendas, but not really in this deck.

Over all, either strategy, net damage kill or big remote server, are good. But I think the deck might be more effective if you focus more on one or the other.
