Core, All Deluxe and Daedalus Complex Only 11/3/17

We had a special event to help new players get involved at my local game shop, which limited cards to Core set, all deluxe boxes and the latest cycle only. So this was my attempt at that, and my first attempt at building a deck completely from scratch.

The idea for this deck is that you install Progenitor and use it to host Hivemind. Then Virus Breeding Ground can be used to pump Hivemind full of virus tokens and then you can unleash Crypsis and Parasite and go wherever you like... thats the plan anyway.

After playing it today about 3 times, I have a few thoughts on it:

1) Its fun to play this deck, especially against someone else with the same restrictions in building as you don't have to worry about a lot of cards that could destroy this deck

2) You need to draw Progenitor reeeeaaaaally early on as the entire strategy rests on it. You can play without it but the MUs fill up pretty quickly and you are left very weakened if they purge viruses

3) Perhaps a different ID with a smaller deck min would be better in order to make it more efficient.

4) I never got to make best advantage of (read: ever get to use) the starting brain damage, as I was so concerned with building the virus based rig that I never used a single ice breaker. I started out building this deck around brain damage but very quickly got distracted by viruses. Although Itinerant Protesters did come in handy at one point, but not enough to change the tide of the game.

5) It needs more Icebreakers (see: distraction by viruses)

6) I put Access to Globalsec in to combat Data Raven etc but again, that never really managed to be of any great use to me and it was always cheaper to pay to clear the tag afterwards, than boost my link strength.

So that's it, if you have any thoughts or suggestions, please comment below. I'm fairly new to Netrunner and this is my very first self built deck, so I clearly need some help :)
