The best thing that came for Jinteki: Personal Evolution is Nightmare Archive. Like my metamate said, Nightmare Archive is ban worthy.
This version is a kill deck. It aims at killing the runner while doing a lot of grinding.
Game plan : Put unrezzed cards on the board and kill the runner.
Mulligan : You want economy or ices in your hand.
Seamless Launch is there to allow you to score a unadvanced agenda.
Grind the runner with Urtica Cipher, Bladderwort, Diviner, House of Knives and Nightmare Archive.
Nightmare Archive either force the runner to steal more agendas than necessary, thus increasing the chance of meeting their doom on Snare! or for us to setup kill condition. Or do a Core Damage, thus reducing the handsize and making it more likely for us to kill the runner.
There is quite a bit of economy, to allow you to fuel Snare! and advance your cards. Also, your ices are cheap and effective, for their prices.
There are three types of runners against this deck : 1. Runners who runs every remote. You trap them by putting Snare! on the board, along with Urtica Cipher and every asset you have. Sometime, even put one points agendas on the board to do extra damage. 2. Runners who runs only centrals. Setup your Reaper Function and Bladderwort to kill the runner. 3. Runners who runs once a turns and score nearly every time. Luck is on their side. Maybe pray? Otherwise, try to setup the kill and hope to draw the correct cards before they score out.
Because it is a kill deck, it goes much faster than Jinteki: Personal Evolution grinders. Most game were less than 10 minutes.
It is a fun deck and it plays itself fairly fast. Enjoy!
