Because we don't say facet in the UK....
This deck performed okay on the day with a totally even record of 2-2-1. After worlds I told the rest of EA Sports that I would definitely be playing some form of EAzmari at UK Nats to prove a point that the deck was still really strong but unfortunately after a lot of testing I found that having a <10% matchup into Lat was something I was not willing to risk despite the fact that I felt I had a winning matchup into the rest of the field.
Shout out to new EA Sports member Cornelius who kept the faith and deserved his cut spot with my favourite deck.
This deck started it's life as a much more fun one that scored The Basalt Spire off of a MCA Austerity Policy and used those counters to fast advance the 5/3s. I started playing it because it was fun and because people probably wouldn't have practice into it.
Eventually the SDS came in because they felt stronger than Basalt and the PTB and Azef got switched back to more normal cards.
By Wednesday morning Kikai and I were part way through testing out advancable ice which seemed to give us more game into Lat when the venue for UK Nats flooded and so I ended up not making any changes.
I feel as if I should have spent more time studying Tuno's lists and stuck to my guns about the fun cards.

fwiw, I went 2-3 with the double holo variant that is a bit more all in on Logjam. Advancing ICE is kind of cringe, even when you use The Holo Man to do it. |
