Store Championship Uppsala, Sweden (3rd place)

Store Championship in Uppsala with 17 players (one dropped out during the tournament).

PPvP Kate is probably one of the best counters and refractor is awesome against them. This deck did flounder a bit against glaciers, but was good against fast advance. Met two NEH during the tournament, won both. And to my knowledge, I didn't meet any kill decks.

5 rounds of swiss, and then cut to top-8.

1. Mikael (NEH FA) + Christian (PPvP Kate)
Refractor is awesome against FA-decks. It eats quandries and enigmas for breakfast, and with one lockpick out it eats a tollboth for 4+stealth. I managed to steal an astroscript in the beginning, and shortly afterwards another one.
2. Christian (Titan FA) + Joacim (Kit)
N/A 3. Anton (HB:ETF Glacier) + Christian (PPvP Kate)
Lost against his glacier deck. Forfeited after this match. A bit sad about this, I would have liked to test my Titan against his Au Revoir-CT

Build decisions

I think most is quite straight forward for a pre-paid Kate. But it has some quirks.
Box-E + Public Sympathy
Flatline protection. My Wife stole 2 plascretes, otherwise I would have had Astrolabe and more plascretes. Whick would have helped with my subpar drawing power.

Test Run
I like the versatility of test run. And it synergies well with PPvP.

Refractor
Not a bad choice against most decks. Maybe have a backup gordian, just in case I get locked out. Would probably not have made a difference this time around though.

Snowball
Backup to Cerberus "Lady" H1. Never installed it.
