Algebraic 909

Piloted to 2nd place at Cheltenham Incom Gaming Store Championship out of 12 players. Undefeated during tournament games although lost a friendly game after IDing. Beat Wu (timed), 2 MaxX and 2 Valencia.

Putting Punitive Counterstike in a money making ID is hardly a new idea but I thought I would try it out in the Azmari EdTech especially as the smaller deck size makes in perfect for playing only 5/3 agendas with Echo Chamber to score the 7th point. After researching into what other people have tried with this new ID, I quickly came across TheBigBoy's glacier deck that I used to fill out the rest of the deck so a huge thank you to him.

3 Punitive Counterstrike are a must in this deck and the Archived Memories is essentially a fourth needed to threat the double Punitive kill early in the game. It also does work as a way to recur a trashed Echo Chamber rather than hoping to see them again quickly with Preemptive Action. MCA Informant was unnecessary on the day but that is largely because opponent's ditched their Film Critic into the heap so the unfamiliarity of the ID was in my favour. Something to consider for future experiments.

This was a really interesting deck to see in action and you played it well. You definitely deserved the bye and it's great to see you developing new decks that are competitive!

Been trying a slightly different version of thius deck and it absolutely wrecks face. Thanks for the inspiration. Any reason you run Vanilla over Wraparound? The second credit rez cost seems trivial as this deck makes a ton of money fast, and it helps combat the Turtle

@Cpt_nice Honestly I largely copied the ice suite from TheBigBoy's deck and trusted to his better judgment! I feel there is enough AI hate with IP Block and saving the credits doesn't hurt in a Punitive Counterstrike deck.

It's funny, how you don't have a Unicorn, but looking at them there is really nothing there that would make this deck better... even GFI doesn't help...

@Algebraic I see your point. IP Block is definitely a great counter to Turtle decks
