15.3.20 Kit

Vilci 1

Probably too econ heavy and unbalanced. Meant to be vaguely stealthy. ihavenoideawhati'mdoing.

Honestly this list looks pretty good. I would drop the 2 Tri-maf Contacts for a single Clot because fast advance is going to be a tough matchup. I would also probably drop the Bookmark. Maybe add 2 Plascrete Carapace? Not sure how kill-heavy your meta is. Also, the 2 Moddeds could probably be something better as they have very few targets and you will likely be installing things with Self-modifying Code anyways. Perhaps Armitage Codebusting could replace the missing Tri-maf Contacts?

Cheers and good luck!

@Gilgamesh_KoH Thanks for the tips! Especially good call on Modded, I hadn't taken my Self-modifying Code into account there.

Bookmark is something I'd been playing with as a Plascrete Carapace replacement, I'd also been considering Feedback Filter for the job... not really sure how either would work out, but I already have several pre-Lunar packs and I guess it kinda sucks to think about buying another right now.

Tri-maf Contact is the result of being scared to run a deck without Magnum Opus. I'm not sure how to balance a deck's economy without such a slow and steady reliable card - to be honest, I don't know if what I've got in this deck so far without it is too much or too little. The suggestion of Armitage Codebusting, if you think it'd work, is probably a more safe route, yeah. I'm also wondering how much Ghost Runner would help with the cash if I managed to get some of them in there. I only have the one dagger so it might be overkill for stealth credits? But credits are credits, I guess?

Thanks again for helping me out, this is my first real deck and it's exciting to see any potential improvements I can make.

I too had trouble breaking the Magnum Opus habit, but you'll be better off when you cut it loose. It's anti-synergy with the Professional Contacts anyway.

I like Kati Jones in Kit, because you establish a rhythm. Run once per turn, click Kati last turn, ProCo or install stuff with the other two. Kit's ability won't work running more often, so you want to try to use it every turn. No taking a turn off to click Mopus or Tri-maf four times.

I say drop Tri-maf for Kati. You'll probably want Ghost Runner too. It gives you more chance of having stealth credits early on, and enough stealth to push through a big scoring server later on, and emergency reserves if you blew most of your credits getting in only to find it's an NAPD Contract.

If you need deck slots, you could replace Astrolabe with Maya and drop the Akamatsu Mem Chip.

I sympathize with the "Bookmark instead of Plascrete" mentality. It will probably let you down a few times and help you out a few times, but I personally feel bad every time I put a Plascrete into my deck.
