CJFM Nasir Pawnshop

CJFM 2270

A return to the best runner. In lieu of Peddler, here's a Pawnshop deck.

Love Cache Nasir. Mine had a Scheherazade too which was really fun.

No Order of Sol? If you're broke, Order of Sol + The Toolbox lets you bump Study Guide every corp and runner turn for free.

How often do you find the 1x Symmetrical Visage? Doesn't seem great unless you draw it early.

@Jeffreysaurus So far, I've not missed Order of Sol (even though I love it). Stimhack + stray credits is easily enough to get Study Guide up to strength. I could see the Orders coming in for Armitage, but this deck has so far had no money troubles.

Symmetrical Visage is good when you draw it, use it a bit, pawn it. I'm a fan.

Oh I didn't even think about pawning it. Sweet!

It's such an influence drain, but I would love to squeeze a D4v1d into the deck somehow. It obviously helps out the Mimic and Study Guide early game and also fits in with the Aesop's Pawnshop theme.

Nice deck though!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't know that Nasir needs D4v1d that much in this build. It's still a good card to have. For instance, last night, I was playing against Blue Sun Bootcamp (which is a decent matchup for Nasir provided you can keep the Blue Sun player off Oversight). I was worried about not having D4v1d, but managed to deny the player 3 OAI'd Curtain Walls with Lady + Stimhack + Datasucker. There were a few misplays on my opponent's part (which we were talking about as we went): not protecting the Curtain Wall with another ice in front of it, for instance, and I was able to lock RND for a long time and contest all remotes. Imp is way more... Imp-portant, I feel, at least until Film Critic comes out.
