Slowdown

This is a deck experiment at thwarting fast advance decks. The main cards that facilitate this are, of course, The Source, but also Imps to be able to trash crucial combo pieces such as Trick of Lights of Biotic Labour. Whizzard himself on the other hand can make short work of Sansans along with the usual suspects of Howard, Bernice Mai and Ash.

The idea is to play the source down when you see an unadvanced card, which you're not sure it's worth running. If the corp advances it, either infiltrate it, or if certain is an agenda, stimhack into it.

Scavenge are there to recurse the Imps for free and even re-use the same Imp on the same turn. They help make HQ runs much more painful for the corp.

Medium is a alt-win condition, in case remotes are locked down tighter than we can afford.

This deck runs Dysons instead of Grimoire, as I found its ability does not come very handy while Dysons can provide link which can come in handy against chear tracers like caduceus or shadow when your mimic is missing.

Looks interesting! Too bad my meta doesn't have much fast advance going on. Really looking forward to more decks having traditional breakers as opposed to just AI.

I feel dumb never having thought to scavenge an Imp when the counters ran dry... a nice trick for my Professor build.

Nerve Agent would be so awesome here.

It's a bit of a problem, because if you put NA, they protect HQ, so you can't get in with Imps either. Also, what to cut...?

You might be able to cut a Crypsis since you can Djinn that up.

Initially I had 2 Crypsis, but I decided to go for a third, since I've lost games where I could draw neither Crypris or Djinn early enough.

Need that many stimhacks?

Yeah, it's part of the strategy. The idea is that I can use the stimhack once they've advanced a card in their remote and that can also help pay for the Source cost.

I'd say it may be worth replacing one of you Aesops with a Hostage. That way if you do naturally draw a Aesop's and Hostage you can tutor The Source/Kati. That second Aesops is almost always dead unless the Character Assassinate it. Heck, you could also drop your sources down to 1, have 3 Hostage and add a Deja or 2 somewhere.

I'm just a big fan of tutors over additional copies if the influence is the same. Makes for less 'dead draws'.
