[Startup] Pravdivost Consulting: How would you like to die?

I was immediately interested in finding an exciting way to make this new NBN ID work from the second it was previewed.

I first tried this as a fast advance with Trick of Light but it just wasn't consistent enough.

I decided to go the kill route with Clearing House and Urtica Cipher which both synergize well with Pravdivost's ability, Vasilia, and Vladisibirsk City Grid. Running these together is not a new idea, but encountering one instantly makes the runner nervous and may force them to run into or ignore the other. The agenda suite is influenced by that of the Built to Last kill decks, keeping it as difficult as possible for the runner.

The secondary strategy is tag punishment with 3x Retribution and a 1x Backroom Machinations in case you decide scoring out is going to work best and need to get over the hump. There are several cards that help tag up the runner, and even with no BOOM! threat, the runner spends clicks and cash to clear themselves. And if they don't, trashing something like an 8 cost Endurance feels pretty damn good!

Overall, there is a ton of stuff to advance, so you seldom miss out on using the Pravdivost ability. This deck has been performing solidly on Jnet so far. There certainly is some tuning that can be done, but so far so deadly!

Currently 18-2 in its various iterations. Lately I cut 1x Urtica Cipher, 1x Retribution, and 1x Funhouse and added 1. Mestnichestvo 1x Clearinghouse and 1x Daily Business Show.

How often do you score out with this list? Has the Backroom Machinations ever won you the game?

I scored out maybe a third of the time. With the agenda suite the extra point from Backroom has come in handy. Wouldn't run more than one though.
