Oracle Andy

Castings 13

Derivative of the Oracle May heavy event decks that I have been seeing around such as http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/9213/full-disclosure. Same idea but with Andromeda, who will give a very strong start and has access to some of the nastier run event cards. Still a work in progress, interested in comments.

Test run seems like alot of influence for pulling a program out of your heap which is the main reason why its their i assume, have you thought about retrieval run that would also work with planned assault then 2 as well as save 3 influence and your deck doesn't really force archive protection so it should be fine. Of course down side is you cant use it as search.

I don't claim to be an expert but Test Runs seem too influence-heavy :/ Why not just use Gordian + 1 or 2 Retrieval Run?

@Pinkwarrior, @Lynx Kuroneko The intent behind the test runs is to help get the breakers out quickly, and to provide the ability to recover if a breaker gets trashed either by the corp or by Oracle May. Retrieval run would help with the second part, but not the first.

@Lynx Kuroneko In terms of adding additional copies of breakers, it goes against the intent of this particular archetype. If it's not obvious, the idea with this archetype is that almost all of your cards are events, so you can use Oracle May without needing something like motivation (now that I think about it, test run pairs well with that). The more non event cards you run the higher your risk of guessing wrong and throwing cards away. As it is, I'm running more non-event cards than the examples of this deck I have been able to find (typically 4-6).

3 test runs might be excessive, I've considered swapping one for (alternately) a second Indexing or a Levy.

@Castings It does seem heavy on influence which is why i suggested retrievals but if its influence well spent then it doesn't matter its well spent.

I run torch in my Iain deck but its well spent imo and their are aranch's that run 3x account. But id try both and see how it effects the deck.
