Kings of Convenience

This is the current Version of my take on Haarpsichord Studios: Entertainment Unleashed that i play for some time now. Since it was quite successful in the recent SC season here in Germany, i thought i share the list.

With Quantum Predictive Model, 15 Minutes and 24/7 News Cycle Haarpsichord got a lot of love in the latest deluxe expansion. All of them fit perfectly in a tag-and-bag deck, that can also win via scoring even though it runs only Agendas worth 1 point.

In addition to the obvious 24/7 News Cycle for Breaking News, there is a lot more this card can do in this deck. For example 15 credits with Profiteering, get any card out of your deck with The Future is Now or remove the runners heap from the game with Chronos Project.

The main strategy of this deck is to install multiple agendas in different remote servers in one turn. Since the runner can only steal one, most of the time you will at least be able to score one for yourself and that is beneficial for you most of the time, since scoring Profiteering or The Future is Now is huge most of the time ( since they often enable Midseason Replacements ). TGTBT can also be used as a trap.

The ICE is pretty much perfect. I don't think you need more than 8 pieces of ICE and these ones do what they are supposed to do:

(1) Prevent Account Siphon to be to good. ( Data Raven is best here) (2) End the run, when you want to score in a remote in the early game. (every piece of ICE does this reasonably well.) (3) Tax the credit free breakers Faust and D4V1D (Enigma has 2 subs, Wraparound has high strength, Data Raven is hard to deal with all around, if you want to stay tag-free.)

I really recommend playing this deck in tournaments. It's not easy to pilot though but most importantly it gets a lot of free wins. And even against 2 Plascrete, you can still win via scoring (Quantum Predictive Model is key).

I really like the Idea of this Deck, but is the Econ enough? Hedge Fund, Sweeps Week and a single Gila Hands Arcology seems too little.

Profiteering and even 24/7 for Profiteering is the Main economy engine in this deck.

How do You win against shapers?Im a long time butcher player, but nowadays every shaper packs artist colony and film critics, and basically is GG since they came out

Playing this deck against many people (only on jinteki, so not a perfect test) and has a good win rate. Against shaper just double raven remote or r&d and go for it. Midseason does his work, 24 on profiteering too. Need to be fast.

@JackMade Just watch you play a version of this deck on TeamworkCast (Hiveworld Store Championship 2016 - #9). Is this deck list after or before that game? I can see its a different list as there no Snare!, did you take them out because of the econ hit?

@seeds34: You are right, i changed the list after the tournament in Cologne. I swapped the 3rd Scorched Earth in, because there were some games where the first and sometimes even the second Scorched Earth are very important to get early. The economic hit of a snare on the other hand is not that big of a deal most of the time.

@gabsnow18: Shapers with artist colony and some amount of Plascrete Carapace are a problem, but you have to keep in mind, that they have to draw those cards in the first place. If they don't, they are probably already dead. Film Critic is annoying but you can deal with it, because often times you can tag them for a round and trash it afterwards. You should also always consider just scoring, if the runner is overprotective.

@JackMadeOK,I guessed that might of been the case, but based on the video I couldn't be sure of how many you had of each. I can imagine have the Scorched Earth early helpful.

I made a copy of this deck last night (with some changes because of card pool restriction). And i'll be interested to see how it goes.
