Geist Sifr Control

obscurica 1317

No fancy-schmancy write-ups this time. Doesn't seem to fit Geist anyhow. This is what I would call a true-blue deck in more sense than one -- inspired primarily by Magic, in fact, whose own "blue" is known for reactive and pre-emptive control elements, much as is with the case for Account Siphon and CBI Raid. Plus the inherent card-advantage elements with Armand "Geist" Walker: Tech Lord's ability paired with trashable breakers.

Here's the thing, though. The "cloud" disposable breakers had a notable weakness when it came to actually breaking ice. Early on, they can barely scratch even the cheap stuff.

...what if, at any point, even a singleton copy can get right through their relevant targets? Good ol' Sifr

And then, for everything else, there's the good ol' Faust and Exclusive Party pseudo-combo.
