Mad Dog Quetzal

Sysp 1271

Sometimes you just want to run like a true Anarch. Early. Often. Force rezzes. Trash cards. Cause a ruckus. Not worry about tomorrow (aka the late game). Well, luckily you are Quetzal so all it takes is your trusty (slightly crazy) dog and you can start facechecking ice like there is no tomorrow.

Some preface: I've been tinkering with this aggressive Quetzal build for a while now. I managed to pilot an earlier version of this deck to victory in a smaller store tournament (10 ppl) about a month back and have continued to tune it ever since.

The core of the deck is a pushy short-term economy package (get money NOW) coupled with cheap, aggressive short-term breakers (Cuj.0) and Quetzal's ability, all with the goal of you threatening remotes and centrals and forcing rezzes.

As ice are starting to build up, a combination of Knights, e3 Feedback Implants and D4v1ds keeps the threat level up. Parasite, Datasucker, Knifed and Forked is there for removing longer term problems that are expensive to keep running through.

The longer the game goes, the less likely it is that your puny economy will keep you getting accesses. You do have a few outs. Stimhack allows for surprise steals. Your in-faction Legwork is called Wanton Destruction, use it as such or Utopia Shard in a similiar fashion.

I plan on running this again at a tournament in late May 2015 so any feedback on it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for reading, Sysp out.
