The Last Pigeon Fighter (Top of Swiss @ Summer Showdown)

Day 586: The war against the pigeons rages on...

They say that in other parts of the world they were able to fight them off. Hell we thought we'd beat them years ago, when we dealt the final blow to their head quarters in Sheffield.

But the pigeons were smart. They were organised. The were blood thirsty.

Before long the entire country had succumed to their flight. What few humans remain are hunted for sport. Some are given a large cone of chips, only to have every last one of them stolen before they can even finish adding salt and vinegar. Some are dropped in the wild as the pigeons laugh at them, lost without an inate ability to navigate via the earth's magnetic field.

I have heard the pigeons laugh. It is a vile sound.

I am the last one left. Some left, searching for somewhere safe. Not me.. to stubborn I guess.

Only one thing has kept me going, my beautful Bellona. It seems to confuse them, disorient them. Some have attempt to take it, but those who do are left weak and open to attack. Some attempt to destroy it, but they don't fair much better...

Some nights hundreds of pigeons cast themselves against it.. but they all fell.

A few days ago I felt the power within it begin to fade, something changed and it will no longer protect me..

I write this in the hope that someone, somewhere will find a way to continue fighting. To destroy their cruel empire, even without it there must be some way to continue on!

I hear them now. Their laughter. They are coming for me now... THEIR HIDEOUS LAUGHTER!!

This deck is something that I built the day before the tournament, after they announced the Bellona ban I wanted to play this archetype for what might be the last time.

I included a bunch of tech for mulch which is probably the worst matchup as they can imp the agendas, that turned out to be the right call and this ICE suite causes havoc for anything that isn't using reg breakers.

This lost one game in the cut but that was more as a result of me misplaying because it was almost 1am.

I hope this isn't the a dead archetype and someone finds a way to play this without Bellona.
