Laces Out - 5th in Throwback, 5-0 undefeated

flimflam 60

Still on hybrid of Limes combo and Real Fake Points. Went for improving my worlds list closer to Limes', while finding some surprising spike tech in Hunter-Seeker.

Ice:

-Kept one Meridian. This should be Hagen.

-Only one Fairchild 3.0. By all means find room for more.

-Gatekeepers. Maybe a crim is on Engolo and a 2 point Megaprix or the Sandbox need to get scored out under an ice.

-Rototurrets should be Drafters. The thinking was more etr ice if the Hunter-Seeker needs to do its thing elsewhere. Engolo crim again.

In Throwback, the deck that doesn't care about the runner's econ, the runner scoring points, even the runner trashing FA pieces, MIGHT still be in trouble on the board if the Siphons are truly neverending or if the Keyhole/Stargates are wrecking the Vacheron plan. Who knows what else. So with a million Hunter-Seeker procs, we'll get the tempo back in time to score our 5/3 and get out of here.

This nonsense managed to get out from under early Keyhole putting all 7 ice in the bin. As well as Freedom with Medium vs an open HQ and essentially open RnD......all Archived Mem and Game Changer trashed from HQ and near RnD lock. Just enough ways to draw past it and magically create 7 or more clicks. Ark Lockdown didn't wreck an Anarch but seems a proper include (especially after a Hagen switch). The lone Preemptive would be overkill in standard but here did serious work.

Sandbox money is so good that you don't bat an eyelash paying 10 credits for it early (maybe even 12). By the time two agendas hit the runner's area I'd more than once be able to Game Changer Biotic Sandbox, and it would usually pay me back, Game Changer recursion pieces were on the way, and getting one of the real agendas scored mattered. If I needed tempo, the early naked Hyperloops would just get scored to make up for the Megaprix plan not going perfectly or even the Sandbox getting nabbed.
