Trigger Aeneas Informant with Salsette Slums so you can profit while removing stuff from the game instead of trashing stuff.

I think the difference is that Hostile and CTM are both corp cards. The ruling on Aenaes and Slums seems similar to the ruling on Maw+Slums. |

I think the reason why slums+aeneas wouldn't work is the same reason why if you trash something via slums against ctm and it's the first thing you've trashed, ctm will fire and then whiff, then anything else you trash in that turn won't trigger ctm. The trash happens, then is replaced, then the initial trash triggers any trash-related stuff, then when they fire they dont see a trashed card, whiffing them. So for slums to fire in the first place, you must trash the card, thus meaning aeneas won't fire, then the replacement effect happens. |

The card is always trashed. Things that check whether cards were trashed or not need to know if it went to Archives/Heap to trigger. Things that check whether cards weren't trashed only need to know if it left play. — lordofthetoasters 14 Jun 2017 |

The ruling here says differently about Aeneas.
