Mind the Rooks

Hi everyone, figured I would share my Nasir Deck since lately I’ve been having a lot of fun playing him. This current iteration is the best I could up with given the current card pool. I am thoroughly convinced that Overmind is the correct breaker for Nasir. This deck is built around that idea.

With Rook + Overmind the only ice you cannot break on face check are:

Chum

Marker

Minelayer

Hunter

Key Cards that make the deck work:

Imp - absolutely need this card to trash Sans Sans at 0 credits (which will happen with pop up).

Rook - Enables Overmind to break pretty much all ice and also drains the corp of cash.

Parasite - Enables you to parasite 0 strength ice and avoid losing credits if you can. Its main use though is for Komainus and Tsurugis. They make Overmind cry.

Deep Red - Huge synergies with Rook and Overmind. Glues the deck together.

Dirty Laundry and Maker’s Eye - Nasir negates the negative of these cards most of the time (credit cost). With Rook on a server and all unrezzed ice you are pretty much guaranteed a successful run.

So there it is, I urge people to give it a go and see how it performs. It is definitely not a tier 1 deck but is really fun to play.
