DAMN NOISY

siowy 187

Inspired by Melbourne Regionals winner "Noise V".

Lamprey was released. It costs 1. It's a virus. It's good. We throw 3 in.

It's cheap, so we can use Lamprey is further enable our mid-late game option of installing many viruses for mills.

All changes: -1 Crypsis -1 Deja Vu. -1 Lucky Find -2 Express Delivery +3 Lamprey +1 Diesel +1 Legwork

Not knowing much about mill decks, but trying to work on one, it occurred to me that Scavenge and Retrieval Run might also have a place in the high turnover of virus cards - any thoughts on those cards in this context?

Why spend influence and slots on Scavenge when you can just draw into another virus?

Déjà Vu is similar to scavenge, but costs no influence, gets 2 mills instead of Scavenge's 1, and doesn't require sacrifice of program(which sometimes you don't want). We're only playing 1 of it because drawing into viruses and playing them is just fine. Also, many games won't require mass milling at all, so we can't afford to have too many dead cards.

Retrieval Run costs minimum 5 clickcreds, 1 to draw, 1 to play and 3 cost, PLUS however much you're getting taxed on archives(which will likely not be zero as you are Noise: Hacker Extraordinaire. This just isn't an efficient card unless you're installing a program that costs like... 13.
